A neighbourhood pharmacy, the way it should be.

Kennedy Pharmacy is independent and locally owned. No head office, no scripts, no quotas. Just a small team in Mississauga who know our patients by name.

Our story

Kennedy Pharmacy has served this corner of Mississauga for years. In November 2023, pharmacist John Hana took over as owner and started a new chapter, built on the foundation laid by our previous owner, Barsoum (Michael) Mikhail, whose dedication to this community still inspires us every day.

Some things haven’t changed: easy access to a pharmacist, and a commitment to making sure every medication is right for you. Others have. We renovated the pharmacy, added a private counselling room, extended our hours, and brought in compounding, minor ailment prescribing, vaccinations and free same-day delivery across the GTA & Hamilton.

If something isn’t right, we speak up. We call your doctor when a dose or combination needs a second look, and we chase down insurance coverage problems so you don’t have to fight the system alone.

If we can solve it today, we solve it today. Out of refills, need a dose adjusted, or dealing with a minor ailment? We act now instead of sending you to wait for another appointment.

Full scope of practice

Ontario pharmacists can do more than ever: assess and prescribe for minor ailments, renew and adapt prescriptions, treat flu and COVID-19, and give injections. We use every bit of that to help you.

Tell us what makes things hard, like mobility, your schedule, language, vision or anxiety, and we’ll work around it: free delivery, texting instead of calling, blister packs, a private room, and extra time to explain.
