How delivery works

  1. Send or refill your prescriptionOnline, by text or by phone. For same-day delivery, have it in (and paid for) by 2 PM on weekdays or 11 AM on Saturdays.
  2. We confirm the detailsBefore it leaves, we text or call to confirm your address, phone number and delivery window. Then an automatic text gives you a tighter arrival time.
  3. It arrives at your doorWeekday deliveries usually arrive between 5–10 PM. You’ll get a text with a tighter arrival time as your delivery gets close.

What it costs

  • Free for any order with at least one prescription medication.
  • Over-the-counter only orders: a delivery fee equal to our courier’s standard rate. We’ll tell you the amount first.
  • Rush delivery for genuine emergencies: full courier cost. Free if it’s needed because of our mistake.

Paying for your order

  • Pay ahead by credit card over the phone, online at kennedypharmacy.ca/pay, or by e-transfer to info@kennedypharmacy.ca.
  • Pay the driver in cash only.
  • Orders that aren’t paid by the cutoff (2 PM weekdays, 11 AM Saturdays) go out the next delivery day, unless you’re paying cash at the door.

Help us find you

  • Your unit number and buzzer code or entry instructions.
  • Whether it’s okay to leave it with your building’s security or concierge.
  • A phone number the driver can reach you on. We’ll confirm all of this every time, even if nothing has changed.
  • If the driver can’t get in, the order comes back to us and we’ll contact you the next day to rebook.

Special medications

  • Fridge medications are packed with an ice pack, and someone must be home to sign. They can’t be left at the door. We’ll confirm this with you before sending.
  • Controlled substances need a signature and can’t be left at the door.
  • Refrigerated compounds are pickup only. We’ll have them ready for you at the pharmacy.
  • Rush delivery isn’t available for fridge medications or controlled substances.

Delivery questions

Is delivery really free?

Yes, for any order with at least one prescription medication, anywhere in the GTA & Hamilton. Orders with only over-the-counter products have a delivery fee equal to our courier’s standard rate, and we’ll tell you the amount first.

What time will my delivery arrive?

Weekday deliveries usually arrive between 5–10 PM. We’ll confirm the window before your order leaves, then send a text with a tighter time as the driver gets close.

Do you deliver on weekends?

On Saturdays we deliver in Mississauga and Brampton only. If there aren’t enough Saturday orders to run a route, your delivery moves to Monday and we’ll let you know. We don’t deliver on Sundays.

Can the driver leave it at my door?

For most orders, yes, or with your building’s security if you tell us that’s okay. Fridge medications and controlled substances are the exception: someone has to be home to sign for them.

What if I’m not home or the driver can’t get in?

The order comes back to the pharmacy, safe and sound, and we contact you the next day to rebook. Giving us your unit number and buzzer code up front avoids most missed deliveries.

Can I pay the driver?

Yes, with cash only. If you’d rather pay by card, pay ahead by phone, at kennedypharmacy.ca/pay, or by e-transfer to info@kennedypharmacy.ca.

What if I need my medication urgently?

For a genuine emergency we can arrange a rush delivery outside our regular route. The full courier cost is charged for this, unless the rush is needed because of a mistake on our end, in which case it’s free. Rush delivery isn’t available for fridge medications or controlled substances.
